Thank you for your interest in selling with Refound! We’re excited to help you find new homes for your pre-loved furniture and home goods. To maintain a curated selection of high-quality pieces, please review the following guidelines before submitting your items.


Please note that Refound may decline to list your item if it does not meet the listing standards. Refound reserves the right to decline your item at any time if it is not a great fit for our platform.


What We Accept

We specialize in high-quality vintage and modern furniture and home decor. We curate items on Refound based on the categories that our shoppers are most interested in, including but not limited to:

Quality Standards

All items listed on Refound must meet the following quality criteria:

  • Condition: Excellent to gently used, with minimal signs of wear.

  • Authenticity: We expect sellers to represent the age, provenance, and condition of items to the best of their ability. We do not accept modern knock-offs or reproductions of iconic designer items.

  • Structure: Items must be stable and fully functional, with no wobbling or broken parts. Items and parts should not be sold as projects requiring significant restoration.

  • Cleanliness: Free from stains, odors, or pet hair.

  • Aesthetic Appeal: Items should maintain their original design appeal and have a high quality look. Styles that are the best fit for Refound include:

What We Don’t Accept

Categories We Cannot Accept

To keep our marketplace focused on high-quality, desirable items, we do not accept the following categories:

  • Electronics or appliances

  • Sporting goods

  • Clothes, shoes, jewelry, or watches

  • Toys

  • Musical instruments or equipment

  • Non-decorative books such as novels

  • Dining, bed and bath linens

  • Mattresses

    • Fixtures and building materials, such as faucets, wallpaper, tile, etc

Quality Standards

  • Mass-produced brands: We do not accept flat-pack style fast fashion furniture and decor. For example, brands such as Ikea, and brands sold at Target, Amazon, or Wayfair.

  • Materials: Furniture and decor made with low-quality particle board, laminate, thin plywood, or plastic may be declined. We are not able to approve items made with products of endangered or protected species.

  • Outdated styles: For example, bulky reclining couches or 1990s oak furniture.

  • Heavily worn or damaged items: Including furniture and decor with excessive wear, irreparable damage or strong odors (e.g., from pets or smoke).

  • Subject matter: We do not accept religious or political memorabilia. We do not accept items that depict explicit adult/sexual content, violence, hate, drug use, or firearms.

  • Ready to sell: Items must be freestanding and available for shipping or local pickup without the need for professional de-installation (i.e. heavy machinery to move).

  • Wholesale: Items should be pre-owned and unique and must be sold by an individual or designer. We do not accept submissions from wholesalers.

By following these guidelines, you'll help us maintain a high standard for quality and style on the platform.
